Downtown Royal Oak presents the 33rd Annual Spooktacular event for the whole family! Parents are invited to bring their children in their Halloween costumes for trick-or-treating at downtown businesses on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 1-4. p.m.!

NEW THIS YEAR: Main Street will close from 2nd Street to 4th Street to add more fun-filled activities including a giant inflatable slide and obstacle course, free arts and crafts projects from Arts and Scraps, live music and a touch-a-truck area where kids can explore fire engines, police cars, work trucks and more. Brightside Dental will also be giving away toothbrushes and goodies and the Tooth Fairy will be making an appearance as well!

Music Line-up:

1pm - Popsicle Plus (Kids Music)

2pm - Students from The Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music (Music students that rock!)

3pm - Dave Hamilton Band (High Energy Jams)


Over 60 businesses will be offering candy and goodies to trick-or-treaters. Also, check out the fun specials from the following businesses:

- Bastone: Haunted Patio with spooky music, decorations and scary characters
- Black the Salon: Stylists on hand to talk about hair personally
- Burgrz: $1 off Coupons
- Gayle’s Chocolates: Crafts for Kids
- Jim Schaffer & Associates: Photos for families
- Kitty LaRue Boutique: 10% off Coupons
- Pieology: Scratch off discount cards
- Royal Oak Brewery: Free 5oz sample of house brews to parent/accompanying adult over the age of 21 (please have IDs ready!)
- Royal Oak First United Methodist Church: Pumpkin Bowling on front lawn
- Stagecrafters: Win prizes at the fox pond of either candy, toys or free tickets

Trick-or-Treating will also be offered at the following businesses: Ale Mary’s Beer Hall, Andiamo Trattoria of Royal Oak, Atomic Coffee, Bean & Leaf Café, Bigalora, Buffalo Wild Wings, Café Muse, Comet Burgers, Creative Arts Studio, D’Amato’s, Dixie Moon Saloon, Double Play Records, Emagine, La Dulce, Lily’s Seafood Grill & Brewery, Little Tree Sushi Bar, Lockhart’s BBQ, Mesa, Noir Leather, Noodles & Company, Oak City Grille, Pitaya, Skyward Group, Taste Love Cupcakes, The Great Escape Room Royal Oak, The Morrie, The Rock on 3rd, Tom’s Oyster Bar, Toyology, Tricho Salon, Write Impressions and many, many more!
