Sunday & Civic Holidays: Free parking throughout downtown.

Parking Structures: Monday through Saturday before 5 p.m. your first two hours are free.

Monthly parking permits and cards are available through Park-Rite Inc. at:

On-Street & Surface Parking Lots: Monday through Saturday parking  is free before 11 a.m.

Farmers Market  Parking (

316 E 11 Mile Road)

  • Saturdays (year-round 7:00 am - 1:00 pm): Parking is free during regular hours in all surface lots directly adjacent to the market and  in Lot P4, which is located off Troy Street between the police station and the library
  • Fridays (May through Thanksgiving 7:00 am - 1:00 pm):  Parking is free during regular hours in the west (gated) lot.  Parking is free in the lot east of the market before 11 am ONLY. After 11 am, visitors must pay via the parking kiosks located at each end of the lot.
  • Don't forget, your first two hours are always free in all city-owned parking structures when you arrive before 5 pm.
