Regular and Special Meetings
The city commission meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays in every month with the exception of March and December in 2023. City commission meetings are held in the commission chambers room 121 at city hall unless otherwise indicated.
2023 city commission regular meeting schedule is:
- January 9 and 23
- February 13 and 27
- March 13 and 20*
- April 10 and 24
- May 8 and 22
- June 12 and 26
- July 10 and 24
- August 14 and 28
- September 11 and 25
- October 9 and 23
- November 13 and 27
- December 11 and 18**
*Moved to third Monday due to scheduling conflicts
**Move to third Monday to accommodate holiday closure of city offices

Special city commission meetings are scheduled as required. These meetings can be scheduled on different days of the week, at different times, and at different locations than the regular meetings. In 2023 the following special meetings are currently scheduled:
- Monday, April 10, 2023 at 6:30p.m. Boards, Commissions, and Committees Review Work Session Continuation at city hall in the commission chambers room 121
- Monday, April 24, 2023 at 6:00p.m. Budget Work Session at city hall in conference room 122
- Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 6:00p.m. Budget Work Session at city hall in conference room 122
- Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 6:00p.m. Budget Work Session at city hall in conference room 122

2022-2025 Strategic Plan
As part of the annual budget process, the city commission identifies goals and objectives to be accomplished. In March 2022, city staff and the city commission engaged in a planning process to identify these goals and objectives. The results of that planning is the 2022-2025 Strategic Plan.
