[ARCHIVED] Power Outage Closes Library

Power Outage Map 7-21-19

City Hall, the Royal Oak Police Station, Farmers Market and Royal Oak Public Library are all without power.

Here's what is happening:

POLICE: The non-emergency phone number for the Royal Oak Police Department is currently down. Please use 248-545-6672 or 248-545-6632 until further notice.

For emergencies, as always, call 9-1-1.

The police have a generator, therefore the front desk remains open during the outage.

CITY HALL: An emergency generator is expected to arrive Sunday evening and City Hall is expected to be open on Monday. If you have urgent business at City Hall, please call first to make sure the building is open before heading out on Monday.

LIBRARY: The library is closed until further notice. Please watch this space for information. We will let you know as soon as possible when the power returns.

FARMERS MARKET: The market has limited power. We will let you know when power is restored.
