This year’s featured book is Kiss Carlo, a comedic novel featuring the hardworking Palazzini family in post-World War II Philadelphia. Family drama unfolds as orphaned cousin Nick must wrestle with his dreams after admitting to his fiancée of seven years that he’s been moonlighting at a Shakespearean theatre company.

Now in its 18th year, Everyone’s Reading is sponsored by the MetroNet libraries to promote community dialogue through the shared experience of reading and discussing the same book.
