As a part of its 20th Anniversary, the Boji Group and its founders, Louie and Ron Boji, are giving back to the communities that have supported the family company. As part of this effort, the Boji Group presented a check for $10,000 to the Royal Oak Public Library, further cementing its commitment to the Royal Oak community.
The check will allow the library to add a vestibule at the northern entrance. The donation marks the completion of the library’s update and expansion plans, which are being done in conjunction with the new parking deck of the Royal Oak City Center project.
“We’re excited to be part of so many great opportunities and new developments in the Royal Oak community,” said Ron Boji, President/CEO of the Boji Group. “The library is a great public asset and we felt there was no better way to celebrate our 20th anniversary than giving back to this wonderful community and supporting a key neighborhood resource. We hope this helps residents get even more enjoyment from their public library for generations to come.”
The Boji Group is the lead developer on the Royal Oak City Center project, which will house a new Henry Ford Health System high-tech outpatient center when it is complete. The 145,000-square-feet medical center is expected to open in mid-2020.
The project is just one part of Royal Oak’s overall civic center redevelopment that will also create a new city hall, police station, new green space with a downtown community park, and a 581-space parking deck.
