[ARCHIVED] New Downtown Park Visual Preference Survey Announced

downtown park

Share your ideas. Be heard.

As a continuation of the community engagement process for the downtown park, registration is now open for the Visual Preference Survey on Nov. 3. There are two sessions; 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

The Visual Preference Survey is a public engagement session that allows people to view imagery and identify their preferences on a wide range of park design features and amenities. Park planners, landscape architects, engineers, city staff and commissioners are asking residents to express their opinions about the park, so we can all learn what it can look like and feel like.

This workshop is unique.

The Nov. 3 Visual Preference Survey is not the same as the survey that was completed this past Saturday, Oct. 6. If you missed the survey this past Saturday, that is okay. Your participation on Nov. 3 is welcomed and needed.

Go to https://www.romi.gov/rsvp to register.

  • When: Nov. 3, 2018
  • How Long: 90-Minute sessions at 9 am and 11 am
  • Where: Royal Oak Middle Middle School, 709 N. Washington
  • RSVP: This event is open to the public and FREE, however, a reservation is required as the number of iClickers is limited.
