[ARCHIVED] Royal Oak’s Natural Jewels

Tenhave

Royal Oak has more than 50 acres of nature preserves within the city's boundaries. The two preserves, Tenhave Woods and Cummingston Park, are considered the “natural jewels” of Royal Oak. Both are open during daylight hours and are maintained by the Royal Oak Nature Society.


Visit the Nature Society at  romi.gov/nature to learn more, including:

  • A list of scheduled nature walks that will be taking place at these parks
  • A schedule of nature based speaker programs to be held at the Royal Oak Middle School
  • Information about the development of an arboretum located next to the Senior Center
