[ARCHIVED] Royal Oak Engineering Division receives award

Holly Donoghue accepted an award last week on behalf of the city’s engineering division in recognition of Royal Oak’s Asset Management Plan for its road network.

The Michigan Transportation Asset Management Council (TAMC) award recognized Royal Oak’s plan, saying it presented several scenarios for the city based on the road condition goals and varying budget situations.

According to TAMC officials, "The city’s plan presented the information in a simple-to-understand way that was helpful in gaining acceptance and approval by the city’s administration, elected officials, and general public."

Congratulations, Royal Oak Engineering Division!
