The semi-Professional soccer organization, Oakland County Football Club, announced that it will be moving from Rochester to Royal Oak in a transition aimed to bring the community fresh entertainment and action for years to come!

“We are pleased and excited that Oakland County FC will be moving to Royal Oak. This move is another testament to the success of our city and of the club. I look forward to sporting some purple and gold this summer!” – Mayor Michael Fournier

In 2016, OCFC based itself in Rochester, MI where they played home matches at Stoney Creek High School. In 2017 and beyond, they will call Royal Oak High School home.

“Rochester was an amazing place to call home for our inaugural season and we thank each and every fan that supported our club. It was brilliant. We hope that support only grows with our new venture!” - Co-Owner Nicolino Morana

The 2017 season will commence on the first weekend of May and end in mid-August. What will you experience at each match? Food trucks, photo opportunities with players, t-shirt tosses, live DJ entertainment, autograph sessions, promotional giveaways, a professional atmosphere, and above all else, high-level soccer entertainment.

“We’ve had great communication with the city and they’ve welcomed us with open arms. It’s a club that the city can rally around and fall in love with on day 1. We can’t wait to get started!” – Co-Owner Theophanis Foutris

“It’s an opportunity for families and fans of all type to enjoy a professional-like experience throughout the summer. We are hoping to gain new fans for the sport by giving a great gameday environment.” – Co-Owner Benjamin Rode
