[ARCHIVED] Parks & Rec Master Plan Available for Review

The 2017 City of Royal Oak Parks & Recreation Master Plan will be available for review and comment for 30 days from Jan. 9 through Feb.  8 at the Salter Community Center, Mahany-Meininger Senior Center, Recreation Department, and Royal Oak Library during regular business hours. The draft of the 2017-2022 Parks and Recreation Master Plan can also be found on the Royal Oak website here.

The Parks and Recreation Master Plan is intended to serve as a guiding force for decision making over the next five years for the City of Royal Oak. It will be put on file with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). This new plan will also be used to qualify the City of Royal Oak for DNR Grants over the next five years. Comments and suggested changes can be sent to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DraftResponses or they can be sent to Alannah Doak, Graduate City Management Fellow at 211 S Williams Street, Royal Oak, MI 48067.

The Mahany-Meininger Senior Center is located at 3500 Marias, Royal Oak, MI 48073. The Salter Community Center is located at 1545 Lincoln Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073. The Recreation Department is located at 1600 N Campbell Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067, and the Royal Oak Library is located at 222 E 11 Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067.
