SEPTEMBER: 2023:
The Royal Oak Nature Society “Mushroom Walk” will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at Tenhave Woods beginning at 10:00 am. Park at Lexington/Marais lot & meet at Lexington entrance. Mary Fredricks, a member and botanist/mycologist of the Royal Oak Nature Society, will lead the walks. Anyone with an interest in learning more about mushrooms and other fungi of the urban woods is welcome. There is no registration or cost for our mushroom walks.
State of the Schools will be held on Thursday, September 28th at the administrative offices located at 800 DeVillen beginning at 6:30 pm. The Public is invited. Join superintendent Fitzpatrick to learn about programs, safety, finances, and more. Light refreshments will be served.

The Royal Oak Optimist Club will be hosting their annual Trivia Night on November 4th at 6 pm at the Knights of Columbus (Clawson). The event will be benefiting both the Optimists and Teen Clean Closet. Click here for more information.
