Royal Oak Inter-Club Council

The Royal Oak Inter-Club Council is a community coalition of volunteer and professional service groups, whose autonomy and diversity are recognized.  The purpose of this organization is to provide regular communication among members through a forum for the exchange of ideas and information.

OTHERS: Hour Exchange Timebank is a community exchange system.   Royal Oak Lions Club services humanitarian needs.  Royal Oak Woman’s Club is dedicated to community improvement.  Salvation Army of Royal Oak helps to meet human needs.  Ezra Parker Chapter NSDAR promotes patriotism & historical preservation.  Friends of the Royal Oak Library assists the library in getting funds for special programs, materials & equipment. Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce encourages everyone in the community to focus local.  South Oakland YMCA provides programs focusing on youth development, healthy living & social responsibility.  Rotary Club focuses on the youth of the community.  Royal Oak Optimist Club is a friend of the youth.  MK Blankets gives blankets to the homeless to help keep them warm & teaches them how to sew.

Join Us: Any civic or service organization whose stated purpose is to promote the welfare of the Royal Oak community may become a member of the Royal Oak Inter-Club Council.   Contact us at royaloakicc@gmail.com if you are interested in joining the Inter-Club.   We will send you an electronic membership form to fill out. 

Membership year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30 of the following year.  Dues are $15 per year.   

The Royal Oak Inter Club Council normally meets on the second Friday of the month at noon from September to November and January to June at different locations.  But because of the pandemic, we are currently meeting via Zoom.  Check the Council Meeting Calendar tab (upper left) for meeting dates.  

Royal Oak Inter-Club Council members can have their event information added to this website by sending an email to royaloakicc@gmail.com.  Be sure to include the name of your organization, name & date of the event, and a short description of the event (optional).  If you have a flyer that you want posted, you can send it to us as an attachment (PDF preferred).
