New Voter Information Cards are Here!
Governor Whitmer recently signed Senate Bills 572 and 573, expanding precinct sizes from 2,999 to 4,999 voters. As a result, the City of Royal Oak can now increase the number of voters per precinct and consolidate existing ones. Previously, we had 24 precincts, but with these consolidations, we will now have 15 precincts.
This means that most voters will experience changes in their precinct number or location. New voter ID cards are being issued to those affected. If you receive a new voter ID card, feel free to discard your previous one.
To check if your precinct location has changed, you can verify your status now at the online Michigan Voter Information Center. Stay informed and exercise your right to vote!
