    July 18, 2019, 6:00 PM @ Downtown Royal Oak- at Center Street and 4th Street. Center Street will be closed between 3rd and 4th Streets.

    The Royal Oak Commission for the Arts summer concert series is returning in 2019 for another summer of live music at the 'pop-up park' on Center Street. For six consecutive Thursdays, music enthusiasts can grab lawn chairs and blankets and head to downtown Royal Oak for weekly live performances by some of the area's top bands and bring your appetite as local restaurants will be on hand each night for your dinning pleasure! Adding to the fun this year, Oakland County Parks and Recreation will be bringing outdoor activities each week.

  2. The Chop Shop at ROAK

    The Chop Shop is a collaborative project comprised of two renowned Detroit musicians. Greg Apro hit the scene with his band Rhythm Corps supported by their biggest single “Common Ground.” Rhythm Corps toured with bands such as Pat Benetar and Reo Speedwagon. They have also opened for Billy Idol, The Clash, Joe Walsh, and many more. Brad Stuart spent nearly 8 years as frontman for Altered Paradigm. He is currently in the band Two Lane Bridge. He has opened for bands such as shined own, Aaron Lewis, Three Days Grace, and many more. Brad and Greg have an engaging high energy set filled with covers that will capture any audience.
