CAP2435 Road Reconstruction
On Massoit, the contractor will work on the remaining concrete pour at the Hampton intersection. Next week the contractor will work on driveway approaches and sidewalk ramps. On Vinsetta, no work planned for this week. On Marais, the contractor will be pouring concrete on the west side of the roadway. Once cured, the contractor will switch the closure to the east side of the roadway in advance of early voting opening at the Senior Center precinct. Marais will temporarily be changed to only allow ONE WAY traffic until construction is complete. Marais will be open for Northbound traffic only. On Glenwood, the contractor plans to finish prepping the roadway and pour the new concrete pavement this week. On Hillside, the contractor will be grading and prepping the roadway for new concrete, which is tentatively scheduled for next week. *As part of this project the contractor will also be installing traffic calming chicanes on Marais Avenue between Thistle and Lexington as approved by the city commission. |
