2024 Construction Projects Map

Use the map above to see if a project is affecting your street. The city realizes construction will be an inconvenience and all efforts to expedite the work will be utilized to minimize traffic conflicts and access to various properties abutting the project.

Notices of Construction have been mailed to affected residents and copies are available online here.

CAP2416/2415 Asphalt Resurfacing

This project will resurface several streets in the residential neighborhoods and the downtown.

Phase 1: Paving is now complete on the project streets downtown. Only some minor restoration and punch list work still needs to occur.

Phase 2: Irrigation and landscape restoration will continue this week.

Phase 3 & 4: Final paving tentatively scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. Landscape restoration to follow.

Phase 5: The contractor will be milling the road way on Wednesday & Thursday. Paving base course is tentatively scheduled for Friday. and into the following week.

CAP2405 Concrete Street Repairs

This project will replace some of the worst panels on the project streets shown in light blue on the project map linked above.

Phase 1, 2 and 3 streets are now complete.

For Phase 4 streets, the contractor will be working on second halves this week. 

*Due to high temperatures this week, concrete pouring is postponed.

First halves / Second halves - The contractor will work on one side of the street at a time to maintain access for residents during construction.

CAP2410 Water Main Improvements

Water main installation will continue working east, heading towards Crooks on the westbound side of the roadway. As the contractor moves east block to block, that block will be temporarily closed to traffic during work hours to allow for equipment and operations, and re-opened at the end of each work day.

CAP2440 Green Infrastructure Improvements

Sheridan Drive - Arden Place - Grandview Road

The contractor is stating with water main installation this week on Sheridan Drive. Once the water main is installed it will undergo testing before connected to the system.

CAP2402 Sidewalk Program

The contractor's concrete crew is working on pouring new sidewalks and crosswalks this week.  Sidewalk removals on Major roads will start.  There will be rolling lane closures along the major roads that will start on Tuesday & Wednesday to allow for crew operations.  Restoration crews are following behind doing backfill, topsoil and seed in the completed Phases.
