April Street Sweeping
The Department of Public Services (DPS) has begun spring street cleaning starting at the NORTH end of town.
'No Parking' signs will be posted to alert residents to move vehicles off the street. Keeping the roads clear of vehicles keeps the process running smoothly.
Show your love for our beautiful Royal Oak parks by participating in the annual park cleanup on April 20 and 21. We need volunteers to help pick up debris and leaves. Trash bags and yard waste materials will be provided. You can grab everything you need a week before the event at the Department of Public Service (1600 N Campbell). The date is approaching quickly for the Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade -- one of the most prestigious parades held in Michigan.
The parade will step off on May 27 at 9:00 a.m. sharp on Main Street at Lincoln and proceed north to Centennial Commons. A ceremony immediately follows the end of the parade at the Veterans War Memorial.
