CAP2308 Major Road Improvements

Normandy Road:

This week the contractor will continue working on concrete road base repairs. The landscaping company is also on site this week working on lawn restoration.

Normandy Road will be closed to thru traffic throughout construction. Residents with driveways on Normandy will still be able to enter the construction zone via the side streets to access their property. Businesses should direct their patrons, employees and deliveries to use Coolidge to access Normandy Road to minimize conflicts with construction work.

CAP2310 Water Main Improvements

Longfellow & Sixth Street

This week the contractor is finishing up landscaping in preparation for paving the final layer of asphalt, which is tentatively scheduled for the end of the week/beginning of next week.

Houstonia

The contractor is finishing water main installation this week and the new main will undergo testing. While the water main undergoes testing, crews will be doing work on the street repairing some sewer structures.

CAP2315 Asphalt Resurfacing

All project streets have now been paved.

This week, the contractor will be finishing landscape restoration, punch list items and sprinkler repairs. The contractor has sent the request to the barricade company to have all the traffic control materials picked up.

CAP2335 Road Reconstruction

Parkdale (Rochester to Ardmore)

The contractor is working on prepping and grading the west half of the roadway this week, and tentatively plans to pour the new concrete at the start of next week.

Helene & Ferris

The contractor is finishing up landscaping on these streets and joint sealing.

Brockton & Seventh

Three driveway approaches still need to be replaced and a sidewalk ramp. This work will be prepped for new concrete, which the contractor plans to pour at the beginning of next week. Once all the concrete work is complete, the contractor will finish landscape restoration.

Fairgrove (Special Assessment)

The contractor plans to begin work on Tuesday this week, excavating then prepping and grading the roadway for new concrete.

CAP2302 Sidewalk Program

The contractor has completed the main sidewalk production work. The contractor is working to finish the remaining punch list repairs and landscaping over the next few weeks.
