Woodward Gets Makeover

Trees on Woodward

The City of Royal Oak is working to beautify the Woodward Avenue Corridor throughout the city.  Thanks to a matching grant from the Michigan Department of Transportation, the city was able to plant 57 new trees in the median between Normandy Road and 14 Mile Road last week.

The city hopes to continue planting trees in the median each year in half-mile increments.
