Drop by and share your ideas for the future Normandy Oaks on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Royal Oak Board of Education offices at 800 Devillion. The public engagement event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break from noon to 1 p.m.
The City of Royal Oak, with assistance from its consultants; Nowak and Fraus and LAP + Creative, will host an open house-style workshop that will allow people to drop-in and become park designers for a day.
Everyone is invited, including the children. There will be several ‘create stations’ set up, including a children’s table for kids to draw and offer suggestions.
An opinion survey will also be available that you can fill out during the workshop or fill-out on-line at your convenience.
Please plan to set aside 30-60 minutes of your Saturday to help us better understand what the citizens of Royal Oak are thinking about this brand new community park.
